Horses
More and more people are discovering the joys of horses and riding. Explore your surroundings on horseback- on your own or with an instructor - when you stay on a farm with horse activities. Your host will help you, and adapt the riding to suit your ability.
Riding offers so much: rack along on an Iceland pony, hack in the forest on a docile Norwegian
pony, or why not ride "bareback" without a saddle? There may be horse and cart rides; courses
in horse care, driving or horse behaviour. Looking after horses is great fun. Grooming, plaiting
manes or giving a horse a cuddle... The host will provide you with written information on the
types of horse activities the farm can offer.
